Where do I start?

I am wanting to learn about metaphysicis and energy manipulation, but I do not know where to start. Obviously, I could browse the internet for hours looking for information, but I'm uncertain about what is credible and what isn't. I just want to be pointed in the right direction. I am very young in comparison to many voices on this forum and I only want to start my journey with a good step.

I have a simple question. Didn't you just mention on your introduction thread that you have been reading and studying magick and witchcraft since a very young age? If so, then you don't know where to start with metaphysics and energy work? You mentioned meditating in the forest for hours. Didn't that give you any basic input on sensing energy and working with it?

I don't understand as this post of yours is not consistent with what you described in your introduction.

I should have been more clear in my introduction. I had never heard the term metaphysics until i picked up the Asetian Bible. Most of what i read of was about the God and Goddess and invoking the elements. Simply just called it magic. Not much talk of energy manipulation. i live in a very rural area in a small Christian town. Anything on the occult is hard to find.

Have you tried the Book of Orion yet? Although if you only just finished the Asetian Bible the teachings from the Book of Orion might be too advanced and hard to fully grasp for now. Using the photography work from Kemet book in meditation, astral projection and energy sensing might be the best next step before getting deep into the Book of Orion. At least that's the intended natural progression of initiation as developed by Master Luis Marques and the Aset Ka.

Don't forget that just reading the books is far from being enough. You have to do the hard work by yourself and apply them in real life and practical magick. But you must find many answers inside you, that's how those books work and that's something many misunderstand. It's a very powerful process but it takes time, maturity and a lot of dedication.
