Em Hotep!

Yes, I am new to this forum.  First, let me say that it has been a pleasure reading all of the various and informative posts shared by all of you.  Your words prepared and occupied my mind, and my time, as I eagerly anticipated the arrival of my own copy of the Asetian Bible.

As for me, it has been an arduous path to get here, or wherever--it is--I am today.  I never heard of the Asetian Bible before a week ago, which is pretty amazing because I thought, "Hell, I've been studying vampires for what seems like an eternity." Surprisingly, the AB was delivered to me godspeed.

I am hesitant to admit that, at first, I was disappointed once I started peering into this book.  I didn't feel as if I was learning or experiencing anything new from the pages being read.  However, I was not going to give up on an author that took the time and energy to write about something that truly interests me.  Therefore, I was determined to finish reading this book no matter at what cost in time, money or hope lost.

Although, I haven't finished the Asetian Bible, I am pleased to admit that Luis Marques has managed to inspire and educate me on the repeated lessons and frustrations that seem to revolve endlessly in my world.  Chaos was a concept I had felt and experienced but didn't quite grasp, understand, or take seriously.  At this time, I would like to thank Luis Marques, and/or the Order of Aset Ka , for (1) introducing me to accept the chaos that seems to rule my world/life and (2) advising me to actually start using my wand, talisman and amulet. In honesty, after taking such precious care in purchasing these magical items, I would use them once or twice and store them away with no further intended use.  Well, the author was right, I do need these tools or weapons with me, especially, the wand!  As of late, I have gained a lot more respect toward that thing.  This is something I am not embarrassed to admit.

Thank you for letting me post.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm pleased to know you found some benefits and inspiration from studying the Asetian Bible even if some of its contents you were already familiar with. You seem to have done one important thing right which is not to give up at what is to be found at surface. There are a lot of hidden lessons within the Asetian Bible (and in other books of the same author) that take time to unveil and discover. You have to let the energy of the book sink in and my meaning will become clearer. This becomes even more obvious when taking the studies further into his other magickal work, the Book of Orion. Give it some time before progressing to that one though.

Looking forward to read your contributions on different threads around here.

If you bought a wand, there's a good chance its just a fancy looking stick; just saying.

hmmmm.  there is a difference between high ritual magic and low magic.  Either one will accomplish the desired goal in the mind, depending on who is using it.  Others will accomplish the same thing with low magic after being made aware that one can accomplish those things after seeing the result of that high magic and doing it in repetition many times.  It also depends on what the individual most likes and feels comfortable with.  Myself, I like to use a wand sometimes after having consecrated and anointed it.  Other times I do not use anything at all.  Either way going after the same result.....so all depends on who is using it.  I bet it is a beautiful wand.

It is definitely not an Asetian wand, however, this one just seems to fit me and has survived under my ownership. (Whereas, most things just seem to break or breakdown by my mere touch or presence such as former wands that I've purchased.) This wand might be the appropriate tool that I've been needing to achieve what I want right now. I admit that I don't know much about wands, Stapleraindrop, but I want to at least experiment with the idea.  Thank you for your input. That idea did cross my mind, too.

Cool, I'm sure the wand will change and evolve with you if you put it to proper use ^.^.
