Ancient Egypt Mystery School ?

Did anybody else run into the Adept Initiates documentary that just launched?



What did you think of its debut?

I want to wait until they do more before I form a full opinion, but I am curious as to if there will be pointers for Asetianists in the videos.

I haven't watched this documentary yet but this is a subject that has great interest to me. There's definitely a strong connection between the Aset Ka and what we know as the mystery schools of Egypt so those teachings are aways relevant to Asetianists in my opinion. Whether or not they are presented with honesty or flawed ideas that really varies a lot.

I saw the documentary. It inspired me to look for more information on my own. It was incredibly brief and they awoke my curiosity. I wanted more information and more facts on the topic they were discussing because it was interesting. It would have been great to get more.

I presented it here in hopes that some discussions will come of the points they present, perhaps in other threads.

Anything that inspires free thinking and introspective thinking is to me a good start. Especially if it is veritable, then it is bonus.

Often times I find that in the snippets of information that have been edited to be less true, at least they inspire me to go out and look for the truth. Much of what I have learned is that I can never assume my first impression is the correct one, and that it is most important to have an open mind to new truths. Therein lies the wealth of the lesson: Disproving myth and adding to the range of things to work with.

Apologies for being long-winded, I am very passionate about discussing and learning these topics!

The Order of Aset Ka was among the very first mystery schools of initiation to openly teach magick and science in ancient Egypt. Their original work defined what would later establish the notions of metaphysics in other traditions and orders in history.
