Would it be possible that you were a guardian if you only bond to one person, and you become protective over them, would die for them and would have no reason to go on without them? I was wondering because ever since a car accident nearly killing my sister when she was four, i've been like her body guard and i've saved and protected her many a day. I have such a strong bond with her and shes the only person I could ever trust and I would risk my life to keep her safe, is this a trait of a guardian?

Guardians do bond in that way. They form bonds that last for more than one lifetime. Guardians are very antisocial beings, only bonding with members of the Asetian Family. What makes them so special is the power of their Love and Dedication. They are willing to go so far for the person they Love. Tend to Love only one person in a life time and sometimes the same person throughout many lifetimes. Will kill themselves if the person they Love is killed (only if they have not further responsabilities in the Family at that moment).
Breeze, just keep in mind that having a strong bond with your sister does not make you a Guardian. Still need to learn more about yourself Wink .

Oh I know, just asking so I can get further to the truth. But I would kill myself if something happened to her, right now shes got me in a depression because shes 11 and going through a 'phase' and she won't talk to me and is being very agressive. I lost my best friend but that doesn't concern me very much, if she leaves she leaves, shes better off without me and i'm better off without her. but my sister is a different story.

Hi everyone, very nice to meet all of you. I must apologise I don't own an internet and only have a cheap phone that I don't know how to us and this is the only thread that might relate to my issue. You see, I met a fella awhile back and after a time he told me he was an Asetian vampire and a Guardian. I am basically a complete hope, don't know hoot on Vampyrsm. I was even kinda freaked out when he first told me because I am ignorant on the whole subject until now (I have been read a lot on it now, but still don't know anything, if that makes sense). Well, my family is freaked out worse than me and they don't want me to ever talk to him again. They just don't understand, period, which I tried to make them happy and not talk to him, but I can'I think I might have fallen in love with him. He does't know this yet, but there is something about him that I don't think I have ever felt about another and I am not so willing to say goodbye because we have a few differences. I am not sure I could ever say goodbye to him, I just can't and I can't explain it other than love. We have bonded in someway I just can't explain. So now I am lying to my family to make them happy and I am in love with someone I don't know if I can ever be with due to other circumstances besides this. It really hurts and I have no one to talk to other than y'all here that might be able to give me some advice. Love for me right now hurts and it is lonely.i am not prejudice towards anyone. I may have been ignorant at first, but am not anymore. I just want to get to know more of you and help this old hippie chick to learn something new to help me to understand more about the man I love. I refuse to be ignorant or prejudice against any. I am just kinda heartbroken and looking for knowledge of any kind and of course advice!😉 Thanks everyone and so nice to meet y'all once again.

Sorry for being blunt but he's most likely lying to you. It's very unlikely that he is an Asetian just from that behaviour, especially claiming to be one to someone that has no understanding of vampirism and more importantly of the Asetian culture. You would only understand what I mean if you've been studying this for a longer time. My advice is for you to be careful and not quick to trust because sadly a lot of people out there lie.

Especially when it comes to being Asetian there are many people lying about it and pretending. In fact that's something that the community at large has been trying to explain and protect others by educating them on how most of these liars and wannabes manipulate people. It's an ongoing and recurring problem for years.
