I am sure some of you have thought about this at some time..I know I have, and would like to see others thoughts on this.

What do think a typical day in the life of a currently incarnated Elder is like?

Do you think they - and other high ranking Asetians - work..and if so, what kind of work? Do you think they would work in an ordinary job, or do you think their time would be solely devoted to the Aset Ka?

And, as an offshoot to the above, what do you think happens at the Aset Ka on a daily basis?

Considering the recent publication of Kemet, it is safe to say that much time has been spent overseeing those details of late. But I am sure they have other 'duties' they have to orchestrate, what do you think they might be?
And feel free to exercise your imagination a little.

I am sure the answer to your previous question depends much from each Asetian in particular. There must be Elders that hold their jobs, in the mundane world, living in secrecy of their true nature, as there must be other Elders that work exclusively for the Aset Ka. The size, influence and structure of an order such as the Aset Ka implies the existence of particular individuals solely devoted to the tradition.

Since you mentioned Kemet, I am sure that the publications from the Aset Ka are only a small part of the overall order and their workings. It may be the only part of their work that reaches the public, so making it seem as a central part of their operations, but we should not forget that despite publishing, the Aset Ka operates on many different levels, comprised by a variety of sects, ranging from temple work and magick from its priesthood sects, state-of-the-art metaphysical research (they have labs exclusively dedicated to research, including on a scientific level), to active field work and their departments of espionage and security. The Aset Ka is a very complex and organized institution, that in the modern days even has a full fledged technological department with computer specialists and network analysts, existing rumors (substantiated ones) that they have even hired hackers in the past to integrate their technical team.

So in resume, yes, I believe there might be Asetians doing many different things, from the mundane to the spiritual and metaphysical, from the artistic endeavours to the dangerous infiltrative work of espionage. Also, lets keep in mind that the order is not solely formed by Asetians. Asetians are probably even a smaller part of the whole. The Aset Ka is formed by may individuals that are simply allies, not to mention also the Keepers.

I see their lives lives in the most spiritual way possible, leaving out time, daily, towards energy work, meditation and spirituality, although I would not be surprised if a few of them work, just like the rest of us, and obey to the physical rules.

There has always been people behind their networks, protecting them in every way possible, I am sure. Imagine how many people would just die to have access to their information and private lives. They need that protection and team behind them.

Why don't we ask the AK Talibah's question directly? Are we that timid and insecure? Or maybe ask the otherkin/keepers?

Victor's response is quite logical (as are many of his posts) but confuses the reader with "I am sure..." and again "I am sure..." and "the Aset Ka operates..." and "the Aset Ka is..." I simply ask you, Victor, not challenge, why are you "sure"?

It would be refreshing to have any of the VF forum participants who have actually met members of the AK to come out and reveal (with permission from the AK) a little of what they know.

Phoenix: I wouldn't bet much on there being direct members of the AK in this Forum. Of course, I'm sure they do read it, but not as registered members.

However, you never know for sure. I feel that whenever a question comes up regarding AK lifestyle, ways of thinking, or how they deal with certain things, conjecture is as far as we can go.

Hi, Syrianeh. I concur with your kind reply. Sometimes it is frustrating to expend the energy on conjecture without obtaining concrete results. The truth is out there. To occaisonally view it would be nice.

My answers are based on personal experience. As being part of the occult community for several decades I can say that I have observed the Aset Ka from a privileged position in several situations. I cannot say to intimately know the Aset Ka, their workings and their full goals... by far that would be an impossible thing to know, but I am aware of their existence and their missions for a very long time, without admittedly having any direct connection with the Order itself.
As Syrianeh said, there are no members of the Aset Ka in this forum, nor people directly involved with the Order. However, I do believe that some of the members have already met Asetians along their paths...

Was that a dare? Because I'm neither timid or insecure... Twisted Evil
But, I am respectful, which is the main reason why I and others wouldnt approach the AK with such a thing.
I do however understand - and to a degree share - your frustration at not having all the answers all of the time, but the whole point of the journey is to discover truths without having them shown to you directly.

I agree. That said, I'm confident that many people have encountered Asetians at some time, whether they were aware of it or not Wink.

Hi, Talibah. My comment was certainly not a dare, to you Smile nor to any other VF member. THAT would be disrespectful. It was only to push the boundaries of our thoughts outside the normal constraints
