I have received the Asetian Bible Empty I have received the Asetian Bible

Post by pagangod 30.07.09 15:18

Hi, i finally received the Asetian Bible, (along with the Vampire Codex)
and i find it very interesting and spiritual.
I want to ask about the children of Aset, why the mythology tells that there is only one and if there are ancient text that confirms that Aset had 3 children instead of 1.
Another interesting part was about how monotheism begun in Ancient Egypt, i will google it to find if indeed there was a monotheistic religion created by a king of Egypt and then forgotten.

I will continue the study of the book and so far i tottaly love it.

The Asetian Bible and the Vampire Codex at the same time? Not a very good choice...

As for your questions, mythology tells us that there is only one child of Aset – Horus – and not three, because as it was said in the AB, the two daughters of Aset preferred to live in secret and let only Horus be known. As for why they decided to stay hidden, that part is unknown to us, and perhaps will forever be.

How monotheism began in Ancient Egypt is explained in the Asetian Bible, however, to dwell deeper into the subject, your best source would be to search the internet, on a Pharaoh named Akhenaten.

Yeah you will be able to easily find references to Akhenaten and the religion he created, worshiping the one and only God to him, the Aten. It was the first monotheistic religion ever, but then was abolished and condemned when the Asetians rose to power again.

Oh, and great that you're enjoying the book so much! Smile
Take it slow, on your own pace, there are many concepts and information to absorb. You will find it that upon a second reading it becomes even more enlightening and some details become even more vibrant. It has many hidden doors.

Keep in mind that the Vampire Codex is written by someone without much knowledge about the actual and real side of vampirism. It may be a nice reference for some things, but overall, I find it nothing near what a true occultist would lean towards and rely on. The author of the Codex is a lifestyler, someone who only dresses the part, if you get what I mean, while the Asetian Bible's teaching extends far beyond what you'd expect. Anyways, this is not something that everyone realizes... especially while you still have much to read and compare.

I have not said that the Vampire Codex is a bad choice, nor have I said that it is a good one. What I meant is, reading the Codex and the Asetian Bible at the same time isn't such a great choice, unless you have tasted and understood the "essence" of the House Kheperu. I could get into detail and explain why, however, Gilded here did the job quite briefly.

But the AK Bible doesn't analyze or teach certain psychic vampiric practices.
Anyway i didn't started the Vampire Codex yet.
I want to suggest me some good books about the subject.
Thank you very much.

Actually I would suggest for you to read both books and then take your own conclusions after. It is always good to learn everything to be able to understand what other people mean, so I do advise you to read both actually. It will be more clear what they are saying in here if you do.
Oh and in my opinion the Belanger's Codex does not teach psychic vampire practices at all. The whole book teches you only one thing: imagine energy and it will flow. It does not have one single valid practice in terms of metaphysics except visualization, which as debated before, can be a good aid but it is far from being everything. Unless you want to waste your life making "psy balls", you will have to dig your psychic vampire techniques from other sources.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that the Belanger's Codex only applies to her own club, not to most of the vampires. Actually most of the community does not agree with her stuff at all, and if you plan to understand the underlaying foundations behind vampirism and how things work in metaphysics you should not care much for the contents of that book since in metaphysical terms it is filled with misconceptions and misdirections. As some people have already commented in this forum, the book states as facts things like "unawakened vampires have a stronger beacon than awakened ones", which is obviously false to anyone that knows how to sense energy. So this proves how her awareness of energy and metaphysics is nothing real but just writes to sell books... otherwise her stuff wouldn't be so ultimately misleading and filled with misconceptions that even the novice energy practitioner can spot. She actually makes a living just by selling her new age material and organizing workshops at very high prices, the typical pay to pray attitude that the real occult underground can't stand from the mundanes. Go to one of her workshops and you will see what everyone means. jocolor

Michael Ford has written, in my opinion, the definitive books on Luciferianism and Persian Sorcery, but I do not agree with his ideas on vampirism. His basis of vampire origin does not coincide with Asetian beliefs and this is where my discrepancy lies.

Though, when understood from a human side, Predatory Spiritualism is possible to be cultivated and even mastered by nonvampires but they are still not true vampires.

You are correct. I resigned from his group as I found they were not that interested in Vampirism and did not seem to have anyone that had any grasp on what the vampire is all about.... Everything else, as you mentioned, is top notch if you are interested in Luciferianism and Persian Sorcery.

The Vampire does not have any real group with knowledge or direction out there to guide one on the path to enlightenment.

Ank......I guess you will have to start one...
