The Dark Mark

It has always been a question in my mind, and something that I have always wanted to discuss with others that are interested in Asetianism. The Dark Mark. Many of you may be familiar with the concept of the Dark Mark. The Asetian's Dark Mark is engraved on their wrist according to ancient traditions. We can see the beautiful design of the Dark Mark, on the cover of the Asetian Bible, which, according to the teachings of the Aset Ka, was designed by Aset Herself, over 8000 years ago.

"To their secret and silent group Aset called Aset Ka, as a direct symbol of their true origins ? the Essence of Isis, the Ka of Aset. And so She said and marked in blood, that those loyal to Her, would be forever loyal to them, because they were one. In Her Dark Kiss She engraved Her holy sigil deep in their very souls, that would forever be their Asetian Mark, and they would do the same to their followers." - Asetian Bible

What I always wonder is... Why is the Asetian's Dark Mark, engraved on their wrist, and not any other place of their body?

I'd like to hear your opinions and thoughts on this.

There is also mention of a metaphysical tattoo engraved upon the Soul?
Not much info on either of these tattoos, I would be curious to know if anyone has further info on this subject?

Yes, the Asetians have the holy sigil drawn by Aset Herself engraved deep within their Souls. A metaphysical engraving of the Dark Mark. It would forever be their Asetian Mark, and as the book said, they would do the same to their followers.

I wondered if any of you have equated the Dark Mark with something deeper within human beings?

A lot of the articles I read at present equate a connection between the human soul/spirit and their DNA make-up. Some go as far as to say that genetic mutations have different vibrations with the "divine". I will find my links to quote sources and try and re-post with links to support this.

Is it possible that the Dark Mark referred to in the passage above is some kind of change within the human DNA. Whether this is a mutation or re-activation of dormant DNA, I guess it could be either, but not sure what effect this would have on a living person? Plus similar DNA would equate to a family lineage which could possibly refer to the part of the passage that states "..because they were one." Similar DNA structures equate to a family lineage? Those who hold a greater Asetian knowledge may have some way of reading this in others or maybe this is why the tattoo is on the wrist, as a representation of the change deeper within the soul?

Please forgive my ignorance, these are really just my musings and perhaps not very well thought out, however it would be lovely to gain some feedback from you all?

Hey Kebi, nice to see you active in here. It was a very nice first post, although I believe it could have gone under a whole new thread. It would be less confusing from my point of view.

I must say that my opinion may not be the most correct one, but I don't believe the process of the Dark Mark, Dark Kiss and Awakening are connected to DNA. I may be wrong though, but from what I see it and read about it in the Asetian Bible, seems like it is a fully metaphysical and spiritual process of transformation, death and rebirth. It alters the soul of a mortal, to give birth to the soul of an Immortal.

Anyone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

But as you said, yes, the tattoo on the wrist represents their nature, their spiritual change, their immortality. But from what I read I believe there are many more secrets connected with the Dark Mark that we still cannot grasp.

Thank you for your feedback, sorry if I had posted this in the wrong thread, I was trying to make this as relevant as possible to the Dark Mark and perhaps it's location within the soul.

I believe Ankhhape posted a picture a few months back showing a hand and forearm/wrist bearing Her Dark Mark (although it was the right hand not the correct left). I understand that this was originally posted on the official AK website and later removed. I was greatly moved upon first seeing it. If this was a genuine AK posted photograph, perhaps marking the wrist was chosen for its ability to be easily covered or revealed, as the Asetian deems it appropriate. Speculation only.
