Egyptian Tree of Life Empty Egyptian Tree of Life

Post by Guest 11.10.09 13:09

Good evening to everyone,

I recently found a very interesting article concerning the egyptian attributions to the qabbalistic Tree of Life, and considered it to be quite logical. I would like to share it with you, and so I'm leaving here the link to the complete article:
http://www.aiwaz.net/tree-of-life-egyptian-attribution/a41

Here's an image of the Egyptian Tree of Life, and it's correspondences:

Egyptian Tree of Life 462

(Note that this is the Heliopolitan Ennead, from Khepri-Re-Atum [1/Kether] to Haroeris, the Elder or Greater Horus [10/Malkuth]. I noticed too that Isis/Aset corresponds to the 7th sephirah, Netzach, which is curious since the Asetian Bible was published on 7/7/07.)

And finally, this is the section of the Amen-en-apt rod from which these attributions were taken; it shows the correspondences between the gods of Heliopolis and the numbers from 1 to 10:

Egyptian Tree of Life 463

I would be glad to know your opinions on this system. Thanks!

Regards,
Heru P. K.

Great find Heru Par Krath. This parallel has been brought up in a few books and can be found also on a few websites other the one you linked us to. I remember in my studies of Qabalah and reading a lot of Israel Regardie at the time, how the Judaic belief system can be seen as a corruption of Egyptian religion (which of course includes metaphysics and High Magick / Heka).

It has been my belief for some time that the Jewish Kaballah was a later reworking of Hermetic (Thoth) Qabalah.

Though most of us here agree that Kemet is the hub of civilization and religion, it is important to point out that other civilizations which are almost as old if perhaps as old or even older, all contain their own versions of the Tree of Knowledge.

The number 10 with 22 paths as a metaphysical system can be found everywhere and most clearly in another probable system of Egyptian origin, the Tarot.

Also of interest here is that Heka can be thought of as High Vibrational Magick (correct me if I'm wrong) which has its basis in vibration obviously, vibration unfolds in our universe in the form of the Harmonic Overtone scale and supplies our universe with 22 musical steps known in Middle Eastern music as Maqams and Indian music as Shruti.

The parallels are great and many and they almost always point back to Kemet. Thanks for pointing this out to us.

I wish we knew who the other 2 Asetian Women were, the Primordials... I have some guesses, but then again, very unsure ones.

I have a guess on the identity of one of the Primordials, which I think could be Selkis / Serqet (corresponding to the lineage of the Scorpion, the Guardians), but I don't have any idea on the identity of the other. I'm curious to know: does one of your guesses coincide with mine, in this point?

Serket is often shown as a Scorpion, like you said, could be one of the Primordials... Guardians

In my research, Serqet would appear more likely to be one of the seven scorpion guardians of Aset, rather than a Guardian. I have theories about Hathor being a Guardian though.

Didn't think of it that way... She can be one of seven... I try to find answers and see what others think... It is an endless puzzle I am constantly solving, uncovering more only to realize there is so much beyond... I can never know everything but I always like learning more...

Serket is not an Asetian, but one of the Seven Demons of Aset. One of her Seven Servitors. She is the main one, the leader of the Aset Ka's elite army that fought the Epic Wars - Imperial Guard.
