Experiencing second sight Empty Experiencing second sight

So recently I deprived myself heavily of sleep. When I did that, many odd things happened as my body tried to force me to sleep at later points. One of the things that happened though, is the sudden development of what I'm calling a second sight at the moment. I don't really know what else to call it. I think the sleep thing is probably just coincidence, since I was beginning to see these things before, but now it's more... vivid I guess.

Anyway, the basics of it is, it's not actually encroaching on my normal vision. It's like a second vision that overlays on the main one. The only similar views I've seen are from my precognitive dreams. When I am paying attention to it, things look very strange. One, I have a shadowy self that stretches from my body and does things when I am curious or desiring. Two, the world is colored different. The sky is dark at all times, the grass on the ground is vividly green, and I can see the energies of all the things around me. It tends to be mild energy with things like plants and air flows, but when it comes to people I see a glowing center in them, the ones I've seen have been blue, but I've only looked at a couple people.

Is this a plausible ability, or am I hallucinating? My best hope is that I have finally developed energy sensing/sight. My worst hope is that I have caused myself brain damage in some way, but all my facilities are functioning fine, and my sleeping patterns are normal again. It just seems that whenever I work with energy now, this sight kind of "kicks in."

That's how I saw the world when I was just about to pass out from dehydration at the beach a couple summers ago. The sky turned dark purple. All the colors and stuff aren't there, it's the brain that's processing the radiation. If it's not getting sleep, water, energy, whatever...it's obviously going to stop functioning correctly. We know there is more than the physical brain. The very purpose of spiritual healers (like a Shaman, for instance) trying to enter a trance state, is to shut down the "thinking" part of the brain which limits you, right? So I'm sure you do start relying more on the metaphysical abilities of your body to sense things, the more it's forced to stop relying on the brain.

You always seem to know the most idea expanding concepts. It makes me very eager to see what you have to say. It is interesting. For example, when I use it at night in a building, things are gray, but outside, especially during moonlight, things are quite... different. I dare not say anything about what effects moonlight and sunlight keep on it, for I have not experimented enough. It is a bad habit of mine to theorize about things before I truly know. Call it intuition, but I call it sloppy work on my part. As for my personal condition at the moment, I just woke up from sleeping for 14 hours, which surprised me quite a lot. It seems that the longer I sleep, the more realistic and precog-like my dreams become.
