Since most humans are clumsy and do not realize how much subtle impact they are having on their environment, yes, they can sense our presence. If you are implying "can animals tell when someone is a vampire" then I have no idea. It probably doesn't matter to them.

I think they do. Animals are great "mediums" in general, and they have a great knowledge of energy, specially cats. For example, if an animal had been hurted or is sick, and you try to give him some of your energy in an intent to help him healing, he will accept it, and when it's no longer necessary to receive more energy, the animal will simply walk away ( this is something relationated with Reiki, and it was just a small example of how animal perceive and interact with energy).

There are certain animals with quite developed metaphysical abilities. Not all, though. But most would be very sensitive to energy and the subtle realms, particularly cats as AndreiaLi mentioned.

I'm not quite sure, I know some animals are said to have what people call a "6th sense", especially cats. So they just may be able to sense are presence, I know I have a strong bond with animals and in my own opinion i beleive they do have minds and thoughts, while other people say they don't process thoughts and have no souls.

They do indeed have thoughts and feelings just as much as we do, the people that say otherwise are most likely those that are ignorant to the natural world around them. I personally believe they have souls and are capable of returning affection (dogs and cats are a common example, but I feel that in some cases certain birds and reptiles, like snakes, can also give back what you give to them... just perhaps not as much or as often, also depending upon the individual animal).

I agree with Andreia and Jonathan, there are animals that can pick up and sense energies and the paranormal, probably more so than the people that doubt them. In my experience, they can even give energy in return as well as accept it. Animals really can do many interesting things.

It's no coincidence, I think, that cats just seem to "know" if the person approaching the house is their owner or a stranger. There seems to be a bond, a "connection" if you will between the energy of animals, especially cats, and that of a human.

I can share a personal story about this: while meditating in my bedroom, my cat who was currently asleep in the kitchen approached me, just to sit down and stare at me contentedly. She seemed to know, even to "participate" in her own little way. My friend's hamster however just kept eating celery. I haven't really ever connected to animals other than cats, so I can't comment: I do believe that animals are much more perceptive, in both a physical and spiritual sense than humans, though.

It is proven by science that dogs have a possitiv effect on sick people. Some hospitals are actually using dogs in their threatment of klients.

I must agree with AndreaLi "Animals are great "mediums" in general, and they have a great knowledge of energy, specially cats. For example, if an animal had been hurted or is sick, and you try to give him some of your energy in an intent to help him healing, he will accept it, and when it's no longer necessary to receive more energy, the animal will simply walk away"

Sometimes i feel like im in a symbiosis with my cat. if i need some sort of energy or i feel bad the cat comes to me and help me to relax and feel better.

Yes I would think that they literlly can feel our vibes or correct way to say it vibrations. Every living thing gives off a aura color/vibration, and also some type of scent that can be sensed/felt according on were there emotional vibration are if were speaking about intelligent being or intelligent mamal we can call these emotional vibrations intentions.
