Hawkmoor's request

Post by Sybil Mason on 06.05.11 11:58

I received a PM here in the forum from an anonymous user who has chosen not to identify himself, requesting us to include Hawkmoor's recent article in this community. The message was received under the subject Contact of Interest, and the content follows:

http://hawkmoor.wordpress.com/

Perhaps you would like to include Hawkmoor's next article in your forum so you have the opportunity to critique his work, once again. After all, it is better to place comments in your own forum where you know that you will be applauded by like minds and where the writer doesn't have the ability to defend his words. Have the guts to place your comments at wordpress, in an open forum, where they could be shared by all who read the articles.

First, I want to make clear that I never published any work or blog by Hawkmoor, nor do I even know who the user hidden behind such pseudonym may be. So it makes no sense the content and remarks from the message above. Even though the content reads rather like spam from the author, I still decided to post it here since others may be interested in what Hawkmoor has to say, and per request, remains here referenced.

Guideline of interest: Next time attempt to address the proper user and not a random administrator. Thank you.

Yours truly,
Sybil

It was me who wrote about Hawkmoor in the past. You can find my article Vampire Misinformation in here: http://www.vampirismforum.com/t722-vampire-misinformation

I am sorry, Sybil, that you are receiving such silly messages just because someone didn't like what I wrote. I still stand by what I stated and exposed in such article, though.

Taking the time to answer publicly and openly the author, I wish to point out the fact that this is not my forum. In fact, when I wrote about it, it was one of my first posts around here, so I had no idea if I would be well received and could not tell that my article would be applauded, and certainly not as much as it was.
At last, I can post articles and comments wherever I please. The immature comment that going to Hawkmoor's blog would show "having guts" is ridiculous and sounds indeed like an attempt to bring discussion and hits to his blog. It was stated that this should be posted in an open forum, and that is exactly what I am doing. This is an open forum, and as far as I can tell, one of the most open-minded, mature and knowledgable in the whole Vampire Community. Especially when comparing this community to the drama, flames and insults that is the daily life of the superficial venues of the OVC, it really stands out and shows how Vampirism Forum, for the most part, is on a whole different level, above all such nonsense.

We're a very open-minded community, and I have never seen anyone threatening others. The comments on having guts are really pathetic, not like we will curse him if he joins the discussion. No reasons to be scared…

Well, I read the article and I fail to be impressed. It's more of the same "we vampires deserve to be accepted in society, don't go biting your neighbours" nonsense.

But I did notice one thing:

Hawkmoor's conception of Vampirism is as deluded as his fellow OVC members. Yet he quotes the remark from the Aset Ka, which contains the true key to the comprehension and analysis of Vampirism, and shrugs it off as fiction.

To quote the Asetian Bible,

The Order of Aset Ka is an elitist secretive society. The essence and knowledge behind the Aset Ka is not found in buildings, objects or common books. Its mysteries are only unveiled to the worthy and its doors only open for the ones who are loyal and true. For everyone else... the Order will never exist.

That's why it will never be of much use to explain or develop any arguments with such a stand as Hawkmoor's and that of his cloak and dagger anonymous pals. Not here, and not in a Wordpress blog.

I personally have no problem posting there, Mr. Anonymous. But because you are precisely fishing for comments from some users here, I will not do it. Let whomever wants sign in and read this. And just maybe they might learn something in the process.

I think, just my opinion, that the best course of action here is to simply delete the thread and not feed into the attention that he seeks. He is just trying to get us worked up here. Wink And what better way to show that we just don't care? 'Twisted Evil' 'Twisted Evil' 'Twisted Evil' hehehe

Lol.

Actually, that's you let me informed of what goes on outside. I really like to preserve my purity in relation to Asetianism / Vampirism and sincerely i do not lose my time with nonsense information. I admire you because you always aware of what others write and do. I appreciate the work of Natalia, obviously, also liked the way that Sybil transmit the message. This forum is the best place we have throughout the Internet to speak about Vampirism and Asetianism. Just look at how it is managed and the post's we have here.

Here, we do not define our knowledge and wisdom superior or better than others. We respect each other. Moreover, if Hawkmoor's not maintained with some € € € a few years no longer hear them. The time destroy any kind of greed. Smile

We live on this forum and share our ideas. We're free of it. Why they do not come here to give their view? Contrary to this, they send PM's. This only proves how much they want fame. Let this be a lesson to all. We are not here for fame, we are here for the same purpose. Grow spiritually, learn as much as we can and make the most of wisdom.

Victor, Jonathan, Syrianeh, Natalia, Maktub, N.Augusta, have been very clear with this type of Vampirism. They should learn from them instead of ignoring them.

I have to agree, they should come here with open minds and willing attitudes if it is an opinion they are seeking.
We are a community based on non-judgmental views and maturity. If they can respond in the same manner, and without any personal objective or goal in mind - then I see no reason why they should shun the idea of approaching us directly - instead of through PM's - and air their thoughts and open them for discussion.

I know of few people here that would react in an overly negative way if they were to do so.

However, I doubt seriously that they will entertain such a notion.

This community has grown to such an extent and has gained such a solid reputation, that it is bound to at times attract the attention of those who may think they can use it as a springboard for their own fame.
This will obviously be a futile exercise that only their own trial and error will highlight.

What I find the most ironic about this is that this person approached our community by the means of private messages and insinuations, expecting to cause quite a stir but from what I can see no one really cares or even knows who he is. Nameless drama seekers it seems, what a big fail. Smile

Hawkmoor has been trying to gain access to various Vampiric houses and sights for quite some time. His opinions and actions have been questionable and he was found to be a threat to the privacy of those involved and refused entry due to past infractions. Last I heard of him he was trying to get into Dark Nations and was turned down there as well. Most of his online work has been deleted. He hasn't been heard from in some time in forums.
