People tend to say that nobody is perfect. But IS IT TRUE? I believe we are perfect because we are supposed to learn from our mistakes. I believe as long as we do this like we are supposed to then we are perfect simply because we are doing what we are supposed to do.

Well, that might make sense to someone who is high. This sounds to me more like an excuse to rationalize and justify rather than reason. Remember, some people never learn from their mistakes. Wink

Perfect is perception. The idea is to become balanced, not the simplistic idea of a perfect life or utopian world.

Everything is beautiful that is alive, and even in death there is a magnificent transformation taking place.

Nothing can be perfect, as long as it has no flaws, cause flaws are also what makes life perfect , cause it is part of what everything is all about. so perfect isnt rely perfect to begin with (in the minds of people, everybody has their own view on what is perfect ), but take a step back and you will see that perfection just isn't hole with out flaws, cause that is what the brewing pot is. chaos and order.
so every thing and nothing is perfect ... depending on what you see, and how big of a step back you take.

Although the meaning of these concept can't be truly defined,I think perfection can be seen divided in two general notions inside our own universes. "every man and every woman is a star"- A.Crowley.

The notion only connected to you, to your particular universe (regarding more superficial aspects connected to the inferior Self),

and the one that concerns the Higher Self (regarding spiritual evolution).

The majority, one tries too look perfect to the eyes of a disturbed society. That means for limited minds, perfection is a concept only connected to superfical things. They forget that perfection can be much more than that...

And some, (like many people in this forum) have more concerns connected with spiritual evolution, Higher Self.

Of course, you can have inserted in your personality these two notions of "perfection" and see this concept drawn by these two lines in a balanced way.

As for me, I always aim for perfection. In all the aspects of my life, equally divided. Perfection means never stop studying, never stop learning, never become stagnant. Always search for more. Perfection can be empowered by curiosity...

Although, this concept dosen't truly exist, the ideas that the same gives can help you climb the ladder and be a big help for you to become more aware of yourself and the world that surrounds you.

For me, perfection is an abstract word that was invented to define or to extol the creative energy of all that exists, God, who is supposed to have created everything, knows everything, so it is perfect because it has all the wisdom and knowledge.

According to some beliefs, evolution is learning through various worlds, dimensions or universes increasingly complex, so if we are in this world, matter and time to learn and evolve, it is impossible to be perfect here...

A more earthly level, it is true that imperfection can sometimes be used to justify the mistakes, but it is also true that some people considered perfect, what they have is the superiority complex of an inflated ego, simply because get more things in life than his neighbor , or have achieved what they want ... which shows very little wisdom to judge others without knowing in depth the lives of others or live their lives from birth.

The truth is that it is easy to see the mistakes of others, but very difficult to see themselves, which means we do not learn until we see them. And seeing is more difficult when we reject the criticism of others or not we consider, because we think it would do us harm. Sometimes people around see us more objectively than we see ourselves. And sometimes friendships are not that tell us our mistakes, but if enemies.
