Over the years I have seen vamps of ever shape and size both visually pleasing to down right ugly. The difference that sets us apart isn't visual to most mundanes. The difference is in our core being and energy field or soul.. However Our kind do seem to draw people to us despite our appearance, I believe that many mundanes are subconsciously drawn to us because of our energy signature. I don't know how many times I have had people just walk up to me out of the blue and spill their life's story and finish with " I have no idea why but I feel I just have to get to know you, or I have never done anything like this before but there is something about you . At the same time I also believe that our unique energy signature also helps us find one another. These are just my opinions from my own experiences of course so I can't speak for others.. Blessed Be

I agree that what draws humans to vampires is not physical appearance, but the quality of their energy. Not to mention how subjective is the concept of beauty. What is ugly to some is beautiful to others and vice versa. Humans, above all beings, have the concept of beauty particularly flawed. All it takes is seeing how many get their fame in television and cinema because of their supposed beauty. It's simple lack of taste. Mortal lack of taste.

Why do you look for outside validations? Why would you want to be "known" to the outside world as a vampire? What would you do if asked to prove it? Really, think about it.

Drinking of blood? Really? I know that some do but there are plenty that do not. In my views, it is the energy that I crave. It is the energy that I go after. I do not partake in the drinking of blood in which to get that energy.

i agree ^ ^ the aura gives it away. also the eyes too.. when looking into someones eyes i can sense their energy/aura... also i just ordered a copy of the Asetian Bible afew days ago, waiting for it to get shipped to my house

this is also why blood that isn't fresh is inert; the energy has long left the substance so it is not needed + undesired, + won't sustain a vampire at all.
taking energy not by means of blood is the more common thing to do.. too many complications and diseases in blood nowadays anyways to just casually find a donor and go about a blood feeding. i've never blood fed myself, sure i've had the craving to, but taking energy by psychic or tantric means quenches that thirst just fine

I think you will enjoy the Asetian Bible and find a familiar energy in the Asetian tradition/magick as I have been reading your posts and a big portion of your ideas and thoughts are in tune with Asetianism and the teachings from the Aset Ka.

Surprizingly enough the day after you had posted this my book came in the mail lol. its been an enlightening read, and has opened many doors in regards to self-discovery for me. alot of it was like second-hand knowledge for me, meaning i already knew alot that was in there, except for Asetian-specific things and more info on Kemet/Egypt. now what i am left with is wanting to know more haha. i feel like the Asetian bible is but a introduction to Asetianism and the secretive teachings!

Well, it could be argued that different people have different attractions, kind of like vampiric orientations. Some would be attracted to highly energized blood, others sexual fluids. You might even find some who simply can't get enough of highly energetic scents coming from different people.

The senses can be powerful tools for energy work, and each person has a different proficiency and preference.
