I was reading the mantra on pg 83 of the AB, on the topic of awakening. I then began googling Egyptian pronunciation. I was wondering is there any good places to start, or resources that any one here finds reliable for correct Egyptian pronunciation?

Ah, how can I attempt to learn another language if I can not spell in my own.

Kuie kwy or kwy ee

When I finally get my copy of The Book of Orion, I know there are more mantras to be learned. Learning Arabic is a bit out of the question at the moment, so I just want to be capable of respectfully reciting these mantras correctly.

This is actually the best kept secret of the Egyptian priesthood. When the last known priests were killed at the Temple of Isis, the pronunciation of the Ancient Egyptian language was effectively lost.

Even with Latin, we have descriptions of what it may have sounded like. There is no such help with Ancient Egyptian. Using modern pronunciation would be like taking the English accent today and saying that it applies to the people 300 years ago.

Use whichever feels the most "right" to you, but remain aware that there are many ways to do it.

Sorry I can not help, but you echo my own frustration with much occult practices. Lacking a group or teacher, I always hope for a CD or audio file to be available for learning the "correct" way. But it is rarely the case. So you are not alone.
