Group Iniatory Ritual

After a few months of work, I have gathered a group of individuals which I share a great bond with emotionally and spiritually. We have decided to work together in our rituals and magical workings. Essentially a coven, however, I dislike the Wiccan association. I am wondering if any of you are privy to a ritual that we could perform as a group as a sort of initiation or binding, something intimate to link us all together. We all understand this deep commitment to one another. Just some opinions would be nice.

I hear the Greeks had some pretty kickass orgies. And you know... cults and stuff.

But initiation is supposed to be an irreversible act which changes or bonds you somehow. If you were serious, I would involve blood in some way shape or form.

I am homosexual and they are all female.
Orgy is a little out of the question.

But that's what I was also thinking.

And yeah, if you're serious about doing something initiatory, the permanent-ness of initiation seems to be a primary aspect of it.

There are many groups that would require you to write your own ritual on the first one. I believe that all of you need to sit down together and design one in compartmental style with each other. By the time it was all written and practiced and then entered into, it would seem it could be a very profound experience.

I'd imagine a bacchanalian sex orgy may be out of the question, but it'd sure be fun, no?

Honestly, though, I agree with both Maxx and StapleRain. Your best bet may be a personalised blood-bond of sorts, with inputs from the entire 'coven'.. binding the life-force of two, or more, is a very deep metaphysical practice, and although I do not question your judgement, I ask that you be absolutely positive before proceeding with this. Depending on the strength of the bond itself, this may have consequences, or benefits, based on the energy of the others. I would advise that after this bond you regularly do your best to come together in unison on dates that are best suited for ritual use (for best results). So long as the energy between you all is compatible (as in, there isn't a presence of hatred and/or negativity between members) this will be very productive for all of you.

I only say the above to assist you in making this decision, I am not being suggestive of anything, I simply wish the best for you. Personally, I would suggest having the ritual decorated in dedication to a deity based on unison and coming together. Meditation by all members of the party beforehand on both the deity and deep visualisation of a positive bond (with the correct energy enhancing tools, of course. Blue coloured candles, scents, perhaps some Wormwood will assist you well with the recent super moon event.) A written statement of why you would each wish for this bond would do well.. it is common practice amongst many circles to burn said prayers in a basin mixed with the other ritual ingredients whilst speaking incantations of unison (Enochian?)/asking for said deity to bring you together. The reason I am suggesting deity magic is due to the fact the bond will be far stronger if assisted by one (of course), perhaps unbreakable if done correctly. This is why I urge you to be certain of this. The strongest form of ritual will be ones personalised by each member, but still include the 'archaic arts', or "Old Ways". I'd advise druidic magic here, if possible. Hecate may be an appropriate option for you. If you are at all interested in Yatuk Dinoih (I understand there a varying views on this, and Michael Ford's works, but they can be of use), or choose to take from it what you can, the "Luciferian Holiday" of "Zairich" is on JUL. 19TH. Providing you are in tune with the more "infernal spirit", this may serve you well in terms of energy charging, as Zairich is considered a primarily Vampiric "ArchDaeva" of thirst. Crystal charging on this date would be wise.

NOTE:
The location of this ritual would have to be a private location where it will NOT BE DISTURBED.


As we are moving towards the end of the Zodiac 'Cancer', a plan could be as follows:

Preparation Date - JUL. 18TH, meditation, kundalini focus and charge, Shen Centre cleansing and focus on Mind's Eye visualisation, a day of peace, undisturbed focus, Qabbalistic work (focus on Da'at as a means to "oneness"), etc.


Prime Ritual Date - JUL 19TH, beginning with a basic ritual to the deity you may ask for assistance from. Energy charging, blood-bonds, burning the personal items used for the bond, etc the primary aspects of the ritual may be performed on this day, as the 'base' of the ritual would begin here. Collecting the remains and allowing them to bask in the moonlight (if possible) will charge them for the closing date. If this is not possible, the ritual itself will have generated enough energy for said bond to work, regardless.


Mid-Ritual Date  - JUL 20TH, Spiritual building,  strengthening the initial bond via further spiritual methods you use together (those which are personal to your coven will work best with this as familiar energy will be most compatible), overall time of being most close and togetherness, Wicca may apply if used correctly in this sense (positive short-rituals of peace, recent charge from the Super Moon makes this a great opportunity), thanks to the deity whom you have asked for assistance from.

Fall-Ritual Date - JUL 21ST, celebrations are in order, feasts,  music, etc. The usual celebratory phase of a few-day ritual.

Closing Ritual Date - JUL 22ND, being at the end of Cancer, this is a perfect time to close the ritual. An incantation of 'finishing' a great work will work well, symbolism of the Ouroboros coming to a close (perhaps marked around yourselves with the collected remains in the centre), further imagery of the beginning of new (Phoenix from the ashes, for example).


This is just an example of a template for a personalised ritual
of a coven, something I've come up with. I do encourage you to create your own ritual ideas with your coven, drawing from influences of the paths you hold as important.

you might possibly be missing something here. The ritual is being done to open other dimensions and connect to them....fun should not be a central part of it in itself if you can see what I am saying. Seriousness of utmost importance.

I understand what you mean.
I actually cut some individuals out after some deep thought into the matter.

Raising that kundalini can be done without outside interference, and it certainly makes some good energy for ritual work.
