Nothing controls human nature as well as defining what is good and what is evil. The different religions of the world and the philosophers of antiquity figured this out. They figured it out for both the desire to control people towards good, or what they conceived of as good, to lead civilization in a higher direction, according to their conception of what is good. But they, or rather others among them, also figured this out to control people towards a morality of a false dichotomy between light and dark, so that their nature would be perpetually split between these two in an eternal battle reflecting the mythological state of the world and cosmos. These latter among religions and philosophers were set on making slaves out of people, reserving the truer understanding of balance, nature and life for themselves, in order to control the masses.
In Asetianism we find the perfect example of this dichotomy between light and dark, good and evil, being reconciled in the neutral indifference in the face of such man-made notions, in the truer understanding of balance, nature and life and also reconciled in the understanding of honor that breaks the false dichotomies of such man-made moralities and paves the way for a certain code of conduct, a way of life, but moreover a sincere flame of heart, that exemplifies the unbreakable creed of liberation, justice and evolution that flourishes itself through light and enforces itself through darkness, that frees its path through inner pain and the lessons of wisdom and that celebrates its path through personal accomplishment and the fruits of understanding. It opposes those latter among religions and philosophers that only sought to control the masses and establishes its own adversarial framework towards such oppression in control of people's inner being - from their internalized man-made moralities - by the flame of initiation, the shattering of limitations and the breaking of dogmas.
We find that light and dark, male and female, day and night, right and left, are reconciled in the truer understanding of balance, nature and life and not defined as good and evil, though there's always a capacity for either end of the polarity to be used for healing or harmful purposes, whether it's light or whether it's dark, whether it's male or whether it's female, whether it's day or whether it's night, whether it's right or whether it's left. That builds its framework upon duality; the dual-awareness and acceptance of these polarities that together define the interplay, back and forth, of every facet within existence as immutable laws of nature as two is sung to the music of three reflecting the one that enables the zero - infinite potential become this reality. One is not rejected in the favor of the other; one is not villainized to the heroizing of the other. Light meets darkness. Male meets female. Day meets night. Right meets left. They meet in an interplay of duality that characterizes the potential song of an alchemical secret by the Path of Mastery and the double-edged sword of flaming light and incinerating darkness as one unbending blade of the Adversary, hidden from the masses under the oppression of those systems of man-made moralities that were built by forcefully controlled thought and deludedly false belief.
Only by tapping into our inner darkness can we confidently stand proud, fierce and defiant to defend an honorable and most venerable Legacy. Only by reaching into our inner light can we compassionately rise tall, noble and wise to liberate a profound and most arcane Teaching. Only by reconciling the facets of light and dark can we steadfastly and fluidly uncover a missing spark and the brightest of flames to pave our Path between the realms both high and low...
