Well said. It is a spiritual expression used by those of higher values.
This is something that humanity often fails to comprehend.

Re: Why do they bow?
I felt incredibly drawn to drag this thread up tonight in light of recent discussion on VF. My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
To the Order of Aset Ka, for providing access to such powerful publicly available tools to help guide and transform us on this dangerous path, gifting us seeds that sow great Wisdom, for wielding the poison that annihilates frauds and traitors, leaving only Honor and Loyalty in its wake: Thank you and I bow to you.
To the Triad, for burning layers of illusion to a crisp, for your subtle whispers that encourage new avenues of learning, for your guardrails that tear open wounds to remind us when we are heading the wrong direction, for your Flames that tickle us with inspiration and your Ice that still us in silence: Thank you and I bow to you.
To the individuals in the Asetianist community who have been students of the path before such tools as AB were publicly available, studying through much more difficult to approach channels, being willing to offer us your own seeds that sow Wisdom when we have not had to go to those same lengths as you did, for providing a foundation that would become the community we have today: Thank you and I bow to you.
To every Asetianist that has become my Family, providing support and clarity through some of the toughest trials I have faced on this path, providing an environment and friendships that have been conducive to deep spiritual growth, for being willing to call me out when I'm wrong and being willing to defend me in Honor when my motives are pure: Thank You and I bow to you.
Why do I bow? I bow as a gesture to say I respect you, that I am grateful to you for the gifts you have shared with me, that I am grateful for the being that you are, that I am willing to set my ego down, listen, and learn from you, and that I recognize that I would not be who I am today without you.

That was a beautiful and honest expression. Shows a deeper understanding of the symbolism and tradition of the bow in our esoteric traditions, something often misunderstood in the mundane West. Thank you for writing it.
