How is the Deadly Poison Done?

A question came to me while reading the AB's chapter of the Guardians... where it speaks of the act of the Deadly Poison.

So, if a Guardian's Master is dead or his/her honor is stained, they 'kill themselves' by the act of the Deadly Poison, for Love and for Honor. So, what I was thinking is... what ways do you believe they would kill themselves? Is there a certain method and way of doing so for those Asetians, and especially Guardians, who would commit to the Deadly Poison?

The forum has been so busy lately, I'm glad to see you all participating. I am learning a lot from you all, so thank you for clearing up my doubts and answering to my constant questions. This is the best and most mature forum ever.

I too wondered, how the Deadly Poison may be performed, but I believe it is not something that a Guardian, or any Asetian in general, would have time to decide on. Especially if it is done because the Master or Lover of an Asetian is dead, because every moment lived without them by the side of the Asetian is too painful to endure. On the other hand I have feelings that it may be performed in a more ceremonial way.

I was actually imagining that maybe the DP is done in a 'sudden' way. Not something the Guardian, Lover or any Asetian could have the time or mind to choose.
