Hey, I had been browsing a bit, and I have come across a name over and over, Michelle Belanger. Who is she and what do you think of her? I havent read much from her due to skepticism and I was curious if anyone else knew of her.

Rings a bell, I'll have to look her up. I know many Vampires I know are very familiar with her work.

Kemisi, most people in the vampire community tend to see her as a poser, not really a true vampire. She spends her time on TV shows, showing off "I am a vampire" on the radio and nearly invites herself to any interview or media event she can find. She is completely the opposite of what a real vampire truly is. Vampires are not on TV and saying what they are out loud so anyone can hear, they are very secretive beings and reaching their inner society is actually not only quite hard, as deeply dangerous.

Be careful to separate the lifestylers and people that just dress up the vampire, play with fangs and live to show off the vampire archetype, from the ones that have a true vampiric soul. You will soon learn that is part of the secret not to get lost in the wrong paths among the vampire community.

I must say that, apart from all the issues regarding her lifestyling and flamboyant ways, which also make me cringe, some credit must be given to the energy-working techniques mentioned in the Psychic Vampire Codex. I have read through them and some are helpful and interesting. Especially the part that describes subtle energy manipulation and how to use constructs. For me at least it was helpful in the sense that it allowed me to validate some of the "weird things" I did in the past and which I thought I was the only one doing.

However a more appropiate title for the book would have been "energy manipulation and physic feeding", because it's in no way a codex, it's just a personal account of someone else's techniques, which vary ENORMOUSLY from one individual to another.

Perhaps it was because, in my thirst for research, I started ordering any book that seemed to deal with vampirism and the Codex was the first thing I laid my hands on. After that began my long road, and of course the Asetian Bible, which was a complete eye opener.

This said, it is still sad that someone would openly declare herself a Vampire and illustrate it with all sorts of slanted-eyed and whip-holding poses. But buffoons there must be in any Court.

I know this, and I know the difference. Until I heard her name I had never known about her or bothered to look her up. I dont do much online, I spend most of my time trying to grow and enlighten my soul and mind. I have spent most of my time outside the US and when I asked a mentor of mine (also a true Vampire) he looked at me for a moment then laughed. He then took me to the computer and had me research her and come to my own conclusions about her.
I have never paid much mind when people talk about Vampires because I know that most of the time its all fake. I listen, learn and grow with the help of my mentor and teacher. I just dont know much nor really care to about the 'online/fake' Vampire.
But thanks for everyones coments, I really just wanted to know what everyone knew and thought about her.

On the one hand, I believe she is a skilled writer in general, and I enjoy the flow of her words. However, I was disappointed over the way she approached the publishing of the Asetian Bible. Then I am glad I never got that far, I havent read her specific work, after what I had heard about her from my contact, and then read up on her. I figured I would be better off not hearing her thoughts.

During my early search in vampirism i did find her writings , but Bellanger did not catch much of my attention ,and continues not to , besides some things which are very intriguing and ridiculous in my eyes.
The only role of her writing was to make me search further while i couldn't identify with it.

I believe her reaction to the Asetian Bible was the last drop for Bellanger in what concerns many many people. Without noticing, she took credit from her own work and ended up portraying herself as a fake, ego-driven person. She showed herself as being completely closed minded, which is something terrible for someone that has at some point any voice in an occult community, especially the vampiric one, driven so towards people with an open and evolved mind.
So I must say I fully agree with your comment. She does have some skills as a writer, but is quite of a mediocre occultist. Her words towards the Asetians and basically towards everyone of us that identify with this culture and tradition or follow it in any way, she disrespected us all, disrespected knowledge itself and evolution, just to bring out some notability for herself or simply out of fear of being overpowered. In the end, I just pity it. I had far higher expectations from her. Lots of people did.

Some googling around led me to some conversations where apparently it is made clear that Michelle Belanger has placed a copyright infringement claim against the Asetian Bible and so Amazon USA has taken it off the shelves while the thing is being sorted out.

What I found most low and dishonorable about Michelle was when she wrote on her own forum how the Asetian Bible was a full copy, page by page, from her own PVC. The most astonishing thing about her comments, despite being undoubtedly fake and a direct vicious lie, is that she admittedly stated that she did not read the book. And by all means, the book was not even published! So she condemned a work, insulted a tradition and directly attacked an author, for something that she did not even read. That left everyone with no more doubts about what are Michelle's motivations in writing and in the occult - money & fame. She wrote this in 2007, I am sure many people in here read it back then, since her texts circled the web, forums and mailing lists by the hands of people flooding Michelle with criticism for her words. Ultimately, her words only gave more power and credibility to Mr. Marques, his work and his book. He proved how he can move, in silence, people from all sorts of backgrounds, from the smaller cattle to the ego-driven puppets from the media. Without doing a thing, he made a supposedly renown author like Michelle to look like a clown in front of everyone, to come to the public all enraged and to spill out her full anger, insults, rudeness and lack of education... all out loud and for everyone to see. What more could we ask for?

Very well said, Victor... this is probably one of the best examples of how Asetians and their actions can effortlessly move and change people from all sorts of backgrounds.

Everyone here can easily see my comments on her from my time spent here. I cannot see how there was ever a question about her in the first place. All you need do is read her writings and it is evident what she is....a fake....along with that survey questionaire that group was doing here in order to get grant money to write commentary about the fakes and wannabees. Money was the sole purpose of that.

I do not see that the author of the Asetian Bible or even the Asetians themselves needed to do.......or even had to do anything behind the scenes to clear anything up. The actions of this ego driven Bellinger woman destroyed herself without anyone having to do anything. She is a joke and has always been a joke. Again, just read her writings and it is
evident she is no true Vampire, only one that does some energy work....and that does not make a Vampire.

I have been quite silent and detached when it comes to the subject of Michelle Belanger's reaction towards the Aset Ka, for it always brings forth my disappointment, and expectations that were brought down by her dishonorable actions and ignorance towards such a profound and divine tradition, even though I was hoping someone would bring up this subject that so bothers me and hurts me deeply.

Michelle Belanger, as it was said earlier, insulted us all. At least all of us who follow the Asetian path and feel this as our place and where we belong. She disrespected the Aset Ka and Asetianism, she disrespected Us. However, in the past when I was introduced to Asetianism, I ignored the House Kheperu and all the information out there of their organization, because it did not feel deep to me... at least after being introduced to the Aset Ka and its tradition. Only now I am reading that she had insulted the Asetian Bible before it was published... and this, alone, deeply disgusts me. How can she possibly claim that the Asetian Bible is a copy of her work without even having read it? She simply went too far, and showed us how all she truly cares for is money and publicity, not evolution, not growth, and certainly she is not writing books from her Soul, as our own beloved author Luis is, who we yet have no clue of his face, of his voice, of his life, and never will. Now, that is what I call a true occultist, and that is what I would respect, look up to and be inspired by. Not someone who all she cares for is what interview she will attend next, what shows she will appear on and what next step she can take from being overpowered by a stronger force.

The Aset Ka never attacked her or her work when they Rose, therefore she had no reason to attack them and their sacred literary art – the Asetian Bible. This alone shows how she was afraid, moved and felt overpowered by a force she did not understand, and certainly no clue not to mess with, which now sends her to be condemned by many of us. If Michelle was evolved enough, mature enough, and most of all was deep enough, knowing where to lower her high ego, she would have taken a completely different step towards the Rising of the Aset Ka, but as I said... she disappointed us all.

The Aset Ka, and especially Luis Marques, deserve a sincere apology from Michelle Belanger, not only for her insane claims of copyright, but mostly for her shallow insults towards the Aset Ka, their divine path, tradition and Life.

That is exactly where I read up about her as well.

I am not sure who she is. I did look up her name and the some sites gave me more information I wanted to know about her. I have never read her book though and probably won't.
