Greetings, friends.

Do you know any work that involves a magical work with the Indian goddess Ganesha? I'm interested knowing more about Ganesha, cults, rituals, etc.

Isn't Ganesh the son of Shiva and Parvati? He is seen as the morning sun and bringer of light. The symbolism is super similar to our falcon-headed friend Heru. I wonder if you could contact the Ganesh aspect through a working with Horus as a sun being.

From what I've read, the cultic centers of Ganesh worship him above his father, but of course practice always varies. This reminds me of masculine sun cults, like the Greeks worshiping Zeus for having slain his titan father.

Apparently, Ganesh is also related with Shakti (divine feminine, more Asetian parallels woo-hoo), and Shakti was seen as one of the faces of Parvati.

Sorry for not having any super cool elephant mojo, but now that you brought this up I'm going to try working with our elaphantine friend. Thanks Kalb.

Sorry I don't know anything pertaining to Ganesha. Kiss of the Yogini is a super cool book on practices from Old India, but it's about tantra and relations with devas.

Parvati or Durga, which many know as manifestation of Shakti (lifeforce), is the mother of Ganesha. Shiva, whom shaivites, know as manifestation of consciousness is his father.

In that sense Ganesha represents these two togehter as a form. Body, mind, consciousness and energy.
