Why are the Asetians Important?
Hey,
I keep on seeing so many things about the Asetians.
All I wanted to know is why they are considered important.
Thanks, bye.

Read around in the threads? Particularly the sticked and older threads.

The answer to this is actually very simple. The Asetian culture is the origin of several mythologies and relevant to the modern understanding of vampirism as a spiritual tradition. You have mainly three identifications of vampirism, one is the fictional side that you see in movies that we don't deal with here, another is the lifestyle side where people dress up as vampires and the third is a spiritual side. This spiritual side wouldn't exist without the Aset Ka, as most groups right now claiming some form of vampire magick and spirituality have adopted from Asetian terminology and metaphysics.
So as I said the answer is simple, if someone really wants to understand vampirism from a spiritual perspective as well as vampire magick then learning about the Asetians and their culture is essential.
