What's with the ankhs?
So what's with all of the ankhs everywhere on this forum? The other ones I've seen are all like blood and guts and satanic imagery, but this place seems to have some weird obsession with the egyptian symbol of life. Is it something else? Can someone explain?

Re: What's with the ankhs?
We're often discussing the Ancient Egyptian but also way more complex legacy of the Order of Aset Ka on this forum so it naturally follows that, since their birthplace was in Kemet, we will have a certain small theme, like that of Ankh icons beneath our profile picture, on this forum, just as a tiny detail but that's nothing majorly important.
However, feel free to introduce yourself a little more as this is your first post and we know virtually nothing about you. That's usually what we say and recommend in this forum for courtesy.
Also, maybe, I'd like to request Sybil to move this topic from the Vampires section to either the Asetianism & Aset Ka section or the Off Topic section.

Vampirism has nothing to do with guts and satanic imagery. That's fiction and popular culture.

Re: What's with the ankhs?
Well, the Ankh symbolizes life, specifically eternal life, and vampires in mythology live forever. Symbolically it works a lot better than fake blood splattered all over the place. The first vampiric group to really adopt the ankh as a symbol was the Aset Ka. Less serious groups like Kheperu later copied that symbol to use for themselves and it became popular, I guess.
