Greetings (Lumig)
I am new here, I was told about this forum yesterday
The first thread that caught my attention was "The nature of your Soul" but as I was invited to tell more about here, here I am.
Starting with my reply on that thread, I still don't know what I really am.
About Asetianism I had a very vague idea, I do recognize the Ankh as the symbol of eternal life and can tell that Asetianism is a faith just like another, however I don't know much about its misuses and misinterpretations.
I like to keep an open mind, and always have an inclination to not accepting dogmas (from the catholic church to start with...) , and I consider myself as someone spiritual but not religious (I was baptized after I was born, but later on I have decided to exercise free will based on life experiences and the education my family gave me...)
That being said, I hope I can learn a lot more about this subject
Also I usually hang around the off topic threads as I always look for threads dedicated to music, movies, reading, and so on...
Regarding personal info, I live in Portugal, somewhere near the sea.
My nickname is a partial merge of my two first birth names

Re: Greetings (Lumig)
Greetings. You'll be happy to know, then, that Asetianism is not a dogma or faith. It is simply a way of looking at the world and dealing with it which is different than you were probably raised to think.
Asetianism is a growing spirituality which encompasses change, above all, as its driving force.

Hierophant, Daniel09 and Jonathan, thank you
Syrianeh, obrigado
Yes, totally agree, the way I was raised, took me a while to question it, as you can see in my first post in this thread.

Re: Greetings (Lumig)
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have already acquired the Asetian Bible and started reading a couple days ago.
Am a bit busy, so I chose the night time, which is more quiet... trying not to take too long, but not rushing it either.
