Egyptian word for Night...

Ok, so ive been looking around a bit for the Egyptian word for night and havent found any translation at all.

Anyone here knows it?


Is so little really known about the Egyptian language that you cant find the simplest words on the net? (Which is a little bit more friendly than your local library).

I looked it up for you, and I think it's nut (like the goddess). Try using Alta-Vista...I personally don't find Google to be a very good search engine.

It could be pronounced any number of ways, of that I'm certain. It's really up to you to determine how to say it.
