An introduction of sorts Empty An introduction of sorts

Post by shinigami_kris 30.05.14 5:31

Hey

I've been lurking...

And I absolutely love what I have been reading! I have to say, I've never seen such an open-minded and non judgemental community before!

I guess the reason I joined is because I feel there is something more to this world than meets the eye. Like there's a thorn stuck on the inside of my brain that I just can't get out no matter how hard I try and push it away it's always there jabbing at me. Trying to tell me something.

I know there is something going on that is greater than you, I, our government, the corporations. It's like a sense of impending doom. I already know we are fucked.

I know it may sound dumb but the best thing I can relate it to is when Neo sees the writing on his computer screen. He is told to follow the white rabbit. He knows he should follow it but has no idea what it is or where it will take him. It's just a feeling that there is something more and he needs to chase it.

That's how I feel. I know there is something there to the point I'm constantly thinking about it and can't get rid of the feeling. I know I need to follow it. Hopefully some discussions on here can bring some enlightenment on the issue.

Maxx. I have only read a few of your posts but already have a huge respect for you and your ideas. You seem knowledgeable and very open minded. I'm greatly looking forward to hopefully having some insightful discussions with you and the rest of the community here.

I am pretty sceptical on the whole idea of vampires but I think that is due to my ignorance on the matter and hope to learn a lot more.

The main reason of joining this forum is not my huge interest in vampires but my interest in what is being said and the ideas sprouting forth.

Well that's about long enough for a first post...

welcome to the forum.  it will get better.  everyone has a belief system they live by and there are as many different ones out there as there are people on the planet.  that is what makes this place so unique.  hope we can hold your interest here for a while.

Thanks for the welcome Maxx. I don't think there is any concern of whether or not this forum will hold my interest... I wouldn't have joined otherwise :s

PWhat did you mean by "it will get better" ?

Welcome to the community. Smile

Do you have any previous experience with the occult? I don't mean vampirism, just metaphysics of any sort.

Hey, thanks for the welcome Jonathan.

Hmm. I did do a lot of reading when I was younger, dabbled with Ouija boards, a lot... Have had a fair few experiences with I don't know what to call it so I'll just say negative energies for now, once I believe I had an OBE but can't work out if it was real or just a manifestation of my imagination.

There is more, one day I will share Smile

That is a very true statement...

But how does one wake up every day with great expectations when one knows they are being controlled by sociopathic leaders that don't give a shit about anything other than globalization and capitalism.... lol

Welcome to this forum.
I like your parallel with the Matrix. The feeling you describe is one that is all too familiar with me. I go through this every day... something trying to worm its way into my brain.
I hope the forum can help you find some of the enlightenment you're looking for.

Thanks for the welcome Rhea! I'm relieved to know there are other people out there that have the same feeling.

Do you feel this feeling has been with you all the time or was there a point in time or an experience that gave it to you?

I think the feeling has always been with me, although there were certain experiences that forced me to pay attention to it. The death of a parent, for example... and questioning religion a lot. I used to be a Christian and even considered Mormonism. But there was something that felt deeply wrong about the whole thing. (Not trying to knock religion though.) So there was a point when I finally told myself it was okay to be whoever I wanted... even if it involved investigating the occult. But when I started questioning everything and really opening my eyes, that movie seemed like a perfect description for my situation. The whole red pill-blue pill thing... once I acknowledged the fact that a lot of people live in this false reality, it opened me to a lot of things. Since then I've tried to go back in moments of weakness but it really isn't possible.... once I saw how blind everything was, even my previous way of thinking, I couldn't undo any of it. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't want to anyway Smile

Hmm. Thanks for sharing Smile

I get what you mean by the whole not going back to the old thinking. I feel the same way. How can you force ignorance on yourself? Is it even possible?

Did you grow up in a religious family? Or was it something you sought out yourself? And why the consideration of Mormonism? Personally, I think religion is just man made and is used to comfort the weak. So glad you have become stronger and don't have to rely on false gods anymore. Then there is the issue of control as well but later on with that...

There is definitely something going on though. I can feel it. Just wish I knew what it was. Ahhh. If only I could obtain ultimate wisdom...
