Research / Inquiring on Vampirism Empty Research / Inquiring on Vampirism

Post by TheBrother’sSymboli 08.10.18 9:02

Good day all,

Please forgive the ignorance as I seek to get answers to my questions. I run a podcast where I seek to find the symbolism and meaning in traditions and ancient beliefs and find real world application for them today. I am deeply interested in vampirism and the occult and would like to gather thoughts from those who profess to vampirism or some form of the dark arts.

Let me quickly say that I am a human male and I am still finding what I believe about Vampirism, the occult, and magik. Here are some questions I have...

1. What does the modern world get wrong about vampires?

2. What does the modern world get right about vampires?

3. Can humans and vampires coexist peacefully?

4. What would prohibit vampires and humans to coexist peacefully?
I man sure there are many you more questions that could be asked but at the moment these are my four big ones at the moment.

Thank you for your time and willingness to answer my questions.

Generally I believe that the best starting question here, before your questions can be answered, is 'What is your definition of what a vampire is?'.

Thank you for your responses. I guess I would have to be honest and say that I don’t know what is the right definition. There are so many sects out there now that, for me, it gets difficult to know what is true and what is just a fabrication of my modern culture.

I would recommend the website asetka.org.
They actually have quite a good article up about vampirism. You could give it a look.
What vampirism is... That is a very long subject indeed.
Some modern misconceptions are founded on a grain of truth, but with added embellishments from the mind and deep-seated psychological desires.

I would recommend the website asetka.org.

As Rhea Kaye said I would also recommend the Aset Ka site. Since their definition of vampires/vampirism is a serious one.

You can research other types of info for a comparison for example, but it is nice to bear in mind that there are a lot of ways people try to define it and it may lead to misconceptions.

So first, check what is your definition of vampire, then if you do not really have one, going straight to some that is serious is the best way.

Good luck.
