Chinese Lunar July, commonly known as the ghost month
Today is the third day of the Chinese lunar calendar in July.
There are many ghost month taboo.
It is forbidden to play in places with water.(A resentful ghost will pull you down do scapegoat)
It is forbidden to dry clothes so that they do not find a place to inhabit and attach to wet clothes.
Should not buy a car to buy a house or move.
Hear someone calling your name, remember not to look back, at night.
Don't slap others' shoulders. Scaring others can easily lead to ghosts attaching to others.
There are as many as twenty-two taboos, and Rael only lists a few. (Quite often hear taboo)

Re: Chinese Lunar July, commonly known as the ghost month
On July 1st of the lunar calendar, the Yama ordered the opening of the gates of hell.
a sinner who is punished in hell all year round (the evil spirit or ghost)
Allowed out of hell, short-term wander, enjoy the month of incense. There are also delicious foods.
Lunar June the last day.
11pm to 1am.
Taoist temple. Choose this time to open the door in the middle of the temple. (or open the small door at the deepest part of the temple)
by the Taoist priest chanting the open door to hell. (ceremony)
Lunar July and a half: Every household will prepare some sacrificial offering. To commemorate them, we will prepare delicious food. between-meal nibbles, Drinks, fruits, instant noodles, canned. Traditional people, they will prepare chicken (can also be duck and goose), as well as fish and pork.
Under the table where the sacrificial offerings are placed. We place a new washbasin with water and a new towel on the ground. This is to provide deceased who have water and towels to freshen up with.

"In this month, we forbid the word "ghost". Instead, we call it "good brother."
Also try not to wear white clothing, because that represents the deceased.

Re: Chinese Lunar July, commonly known as the ghost month
Today is the seventh lunar month and a half.
Loud sound of firecrackers outside, in commemoration of the end of the process of brothers.
After burning a good brother's various silver papers (including paper money)
Most of us will put firecrackers.
A roll of firecrackers ignited audible
Many children, including Rael, will cover their ears.
(For fear of firecrackers sound)

Even if Rael stays at home, can hear the sound of firecrackers coming from afar.

Very good Rael.
And... this forum is so dead, I think we will only have to gather around to listen to Rael's stories about ghosts nowmore - he might be the last person who contributes something at all. Really sad to see all the old members go and the forum to come to an utter standstill...
Well... well... I've tried whatever I've could, with more or less resistance. I don't know the value on my "contributions", however, but some nice discussions have been had.
Today's a sad sentiment from Mystic The Light Who Shineth Forth In Irradiant Splendour...

People may well return. Quietness and being busy tend to be cyclical for just about every forum I have been a part of. Discord servers seem to be the exception once they hit a certain population point.

Before the custom began.
Entertainer performance opening, Send unique items
Then the teams across the country
Hundreds of contestants gathered in the venue
Climbing in a Stacked way, eradicate the butter on the scaffolding.
Then the flag-bearer climbs alone to the top of the scaffolding.
On top of scaffolding to snatch the flag
(The flag is called Shunfengqi)
Scaffolding, middle
We keep four pillars according to convention
Give good brother to climb

Traditional customs developed in a competitive manner
The traditional custom of competition, the first place has 300,000 Taiwan dollars.
Every year, many people are attracted to watch the game to see which team reaches the top at the fastest..

Re: Chinese Lunar July, commonly known as the ghost month
Such rich traditions and cultures from around the world. Some preserved, other unpreserved due to the slaugther made by certain religions together with mass conversion. It's like a scourge that has gone over the planet, haunting it for millenia, selling hopes of light and salvation whilst washing away all the ancient cultures and pagan traditions. Many peoples' roots have been decimated due to that and left we are with ungrounded beliefs in heaven, so much so that people lost touch with the earth and making this life meaningful. In fact, they are religions that don't care for nature one might rather boldly say because there is no trace of having any principles or moralities in regards to ethical concerns for nature and preserving her intact. Religions that don't care for nature, and the philosophically perverted mindsets they carry, are the reason why we are so out of balance today in our world, that has been overly technologized, or rather industrialized and then caused destruction to nature... because there was no foundation for the respect of nature in people's hearts and minds to make the technological development in harmony with that.

Today is the last day of the seventh lunar month.
A bold font is marked in red on the calendar.
There is a sentence below the date today, a total of three words, wrote: "Off Ghosts Gate".
As literally put it close, close the gates of hell.
The last day in the past was thirty or thirty-one.(Lunar July)

Re: Chinese Lunar July, commonly known as the ghost month
Roughly meaning the is to send good brothers back to hell.
If the good brothers "have not returned," Yama will send his subordinate officials to arrest the "good brothers" and return to hell.
exception:
Once there, once, the ghost month spans two months.
A long two months.
Call it "Leap month"
