another daft observation

I know this is going to sound completely silly, and probably wont get any responses, but I was watching the original Stargate last night, and had to giggle to myself about it.

I got to thinking..I wonder if anyone has done some research into the Aset Ka, and decided to change things around a little to form a story line?
With the whole Egypt thing going on, aliens masquerading as Gods etc..(not that I'm suggesting that Asetians are doing that, of course)
Then I noticed several books I've read that seem to have a similar thread flowing through them.
