A Nice Read Empty A Nice Read

I am in currently in search of an interesting book to read, that can in some ways reflect the Aset Ka, the Asetians, or Orders surrounding the Aset Ka, with a nice storyline to it... or simply a very good story book with a nice twist of vampirism. Nothing like the fluffy vampires of Anne Rice and Twilight... Other than the magnificent Lord of the Rings, that reflects the Asetian Empire, and the famous Harry Potter, that in many ways reflects the secret Orders of Portugal, like the OP and the OTP, what other books can you recommend?

Hello, Gilded.

Though there is no take on vampirism on it, I would recommend "Sinuhe the Egyptian" by Mika Waltari. It is a wonderful historic novel that relates the time of turmoil of the death of the Amun cult and rise of the Athen cult - to be brought down again - in politically-strifen Egypt. It really pulls you in.

It is said that this time - when Akenathen rose to power and forced a new god unto the Amun-worshipping people- was somehow hinting at the Epic Wars that we have read about in the Asetian Bible.
