Re: New Admin.
Greetings.
My name is Sybil Mason, but you may call me just Sybil.
I want to thank for the kind welcome from our administrator Elendor and wish to say that it is my pleasure to be among you all and to join the respected community here at Vampirism Forum.
I have to say that I have no personal bias towards the Asetians or the Sethians, I am not part of any war between them, and that all points of view will be respected and tolerated as long as people do the same.
As Elendor explained, I have drawn a new icon for the website that you can see on the top left corner of your browser when visiting Vampirism Forum. I found it to be nice to have something more customized and the Ankh seemed to be the most adequate symbol that every occultist can properly associate with Vampirism without much effort. The red and black colors, again, mean no bias or affiliation of any sort and are only present to resonate with the overall layout and style of this forum. I hope that you all like it.
Reading the forum I have noticed that there have been requests to put as sticky some threads that may have more relevance in terms of content, what they share and explain, or simply by the quality of a specific post within it. I will start by doing that, trying to find those threads and give them more visibility. If you disagree with any of the ones I will chose, or if you find others that I may have missed, please let me know. I believe it will make the overall forum more organized and easier to locate information within it, that at this point is already quite extensive.
If you have any suggestions or ideas always feel free to contact me directly in here through a private message or, even better, please share them with the rest of the community in a new thread.
See you soon.

Re: New Admin.
Thank you for the welcome.
This community deserves the passion and vitality that you speak of, Jonathan. But that can only be accomplished if we all work together towards the same goal and with the same commitment. We have a great community in our hands, something very rare to find in terms of online forums. It is up to us to cherish it, value it and protect it.
I have designed a new banner for Vampirism Forum. The previous one was getting old and I believe a new look would be welcome now that the forum was upgraded. It was also disproportional to the website layout, too small in dimensions and used the typical gothic typeset that has been used in nearly every other vampire site out there. I believe the new one can give it a cleaner look and bring another level of polish to the website design. I have not altered the overall layout implementation as it gives Vampirism Forum its own identity, and we want people to feel this is still the same old forum they came to like and appreciate, feeling at home.
The typeset in the new banner was manipulated through layers and special effects in Photoshop to give the look as if they are engraved in the skin of the banner itself, like they were cut from it. I like the result, but will let you all decide on how it looks.

Beautiful! I agree with Augusta, the banner is much better. I was really tired of the previous banner and the one you designed has a more artistic look to it. You're talented! Looks better, thanks a lot.
I really liked what you said in here. I agree with it wholeheartedly.Sybil Mason wrote:

Re: New Admin.
Thank you, once more, for all of the positive and kind words. I appreciate it.
I have spent several hours reading most of the older material from all the threads, we really have lots of information stored in this forum. The only problem with it is organization. It is so much information that it must look daunting to any new member that comes here.
As I committed above, I have selected some of the threads and promoted them to sticky status. Some of them are very interesting and complete while others still lack content but provide great themes for discussion, so feel free to reopen them if you having anything to add or share. This is by no means final and just the result on a first approach, so it is prone to errors and mistakes. Please point to me anything you disagree with. I applied this process to all of the major topics: Vampires, Asetianism & Aset Ka, Feeding & Draining, Metaphysics & Magick, Religion & Spirituality and Off Topic. I did not apply it to the sub topics inside Asetianism; like Viperines, Guardians, Concubines, Keepers and Sethians, since the information inside each of those sub-sections seems to be well organized so far. If in the future they get expanded in content, a revision might be necessary, so let me know what you all think on that. Also, despite the information within those sections being more condensed and slightly more hidden, there are very interesting threads on the inside, so don't forget to pay them a visit!
If you disagree with any of those posts being promoted, feel free to say so and explain why in here, or if I missed any other posts that you believe it also deserves promotion, please share. We're a community and this forum belongs to all of you.

Hello and Welcome Sybil.
It Is a pleasure to have you here.
You are already doing a wonderful job on this site.
I have been looking at the "sticky" posts, and they are good topics, or point to be found in them
Thank you <3

Re: New Admin.
Good organization. You did a good job. There is a post about that bellydande that i post: https://www.vampirismforum.com/t533-bellydance-and-
asetian tradition . All who read like the post. The Asetians girls are the most beautiful women in the world and I believe in bellydance they can cause damage ^ ^ What do you think all? sticky or not?

Re: New Admin.
It is much better and easier to find the most active threads like this, thanks a lot Sybil, I know that takes a lot of work and time. Your dedication is much appreciated.
Stalker, your post on bellydance is good and I think it should get sticky, the only problem I am noticing is that the section on Asetianism is getting so long, with so much content, that it has a lot of stickies which might make it confusing as well. I would recommend to put your bellydance post on sticky but moving it to Religion & Spirituality, since bellydance can be seen as a spiritual practice. What do you think?

I am pleased that you all appreciated the new banner design. It was my pleasure to work on it for this community.
I have moved Stalker's post on Bellydance to the Religion & Spirituality section and promoted it to sticky status, as you have requested.
Any other alterations or ideas, just let me know.
