An introduction
Hello my name is Monique.I have come to your forum to find some information and to find out if anyone has ever had an experience similar to my own. When I was away at art school in London, England I had an odd transformation experience. It was around Christmas time and almost all of the students had gone home except for a few of us.I had been amusing myself by using a pendulum to find yes and no answers to questions just to see if it really worked. The pendulum seemed to start swinging, but I thought I was causing this with slight subconscious movements as skeptics say.I don't know if the pendulum had anything to do with it,but one late evening I was looking in the mirror and my eyes had become golden, then my hard palate developed ridges all the way to my soft palate.I was very hungry so I decided to walk downstairs to the kitchen to my great surprise the floor at the foot of the stairs was beneath my feet in seconds as if I had glided swiftly down the stairs. My roommate returned a few days later to pick up a jacket she had let me borrow. When I opened the door she looked at me, grabbed her jacket and ran downstairs with a look of fear on her face.I never saw her again after that.Well,I returned home to the U.S. for personal reasons, upon my return,my eyes would sometimes take on a golden hue again and my hard palate still developed the numerous ridges, but after awhile the transformation ended and has been mostly dormant ever since. I had been reading a book on the occult when I was in London,in the book there was a photo of an Egyptian sarcophagus and I could see a shade standing next to it.I don't know if this is related to my transformation experience but I did own a Ryder tarot deck,The Way of Cartouche book and cards,a small gold ankh pendant and a small fossilized stone pyramid. Also,I have dreams about vampires and sometimes in these dreams I am a vampire as well.Except for the dreams there are no more odd occurrences. I would like to find out if anyone else has had an experience similar to mine.So far the vampirism forum has been very informative, until I joined I had not even heard of Asetianism, it is all new to me.I will continue reading the posts and articles.Thank you.

Re: An introduction
Welcome to the forum. I can't say that I have experienced something similar to what you're explaining but I hope that you can find what you're searching.

Re: An introduction
Welcome. Interesting experiences! It's hard to say but you could have had some sort of spirit possession, attachment, or influence.

Re: An introduction
Everyone is special with outside the ordinary things that happen with each person.... except for me. I am just dull and boring. For instance, think about yourself, what you are experiencing right now is outside what you expect is happening to anyone else....right? You do not sit there and think that what you feel with your senses is the same identical thing that is going on with masses of people, do you? Don't you think with your imagination that it is a very special feeling you are having in the now?....and special to yourself. One can experience something with the mental processes separate from the mental processes....but it is as real as if it happened to the physical processes.
Common thinking should tell you that many are not experiencing the same thing happening at the same time all over the world. You do not feel that, do you?
The same thing is like a dream. No one has the same exact dream at the same time. So we are all very special, and different and experiencing a place in the universe for our unique experience. Except me, I am dull and boring.....because I witness the happening taking place with you when it happens from a diferent perspective.

Re: An introduction
Gargoyle, did you mean demonic possession or something more akin to a shamanic experience? I was concerned that maybe the shades were what you have suggested. Also, I have misspelled the name of the tarot deck,it is correctly spelled Rider.

Re: An introduction
Maxx,I don't think it was my imagination, the experience was very real for me.I was only thinking that maybe someone else out there may have had a similar experience.

Re: An introduction
Monique, as I replied to you from your private msg...I never said I considered it only your imagination.....but if it was, why would you feel that would reduce it in importance anyway. The universe is composed partially of imagination....so any experience each of us is having at any given time has an element of imagination in composition to it. How in the world does one think that creation with energy could construct without imagination? Sounds like you wear a chip on the shoulder.... this is not a place for that.

Re: An introduction
In addition, most of my own experiences are considered by many as constructs of an imbalanced person of questionable mental clarity. Should that bother me? Maybe.... If I was concerned about being a part of that larger group which would be considered sane. But since I am not part of that larger group, I do not see myself in competition with anyone with experiences outside of my own. So I need not ask anyone if they have strange things happen in their life as I see in mine cause I could care less. I just know they walk a mundane path with little to show for it at the end of the day...lol.

Re: An introduction
I meant any spirit or entity really. Hard to pinpoint it exactly as I was not there.
