Heya, all. I did not realize it was customary to make an introductory post. So, here I am. I am new to this forum and the concept of a forum like this existing. I am enraptured with vampires and have consumed all types of vampiric media. I am interested in learning, exploring, and experiencing on this forum.

Forgot to add, although I'm certain you already realized it, this forum is focused on the spiritual and metaphysical sides of vampirism but not in fiction. Although we also explore other branches of the occult like witchcraft and various forms of magick.

Ah I seriously doubt you'll find metaphysical vampires there Maxx. A bunch of emotional parasites seeking drama is far more likely.

Oh boy the amount of cheesy novels and manga that I have read! I read Bram Stoker's Dracula when I was 8 and became fascinated. In middle school, I began reading the YA novels and watched animes starring vampires. In high school, I started looking into lore online. It was never an edgy obsession to make myself look cool. I'm really enamored with the history and seeing which lore is true and which ones are fake.

I can assure you that this distinction is the most difficult challenge of all. Even here on this forum, you will find quite a few different interpretations of what "real" vampires are and which lore about them has a factual basis.
