Awakening and Physical Changes

When an Asetian awakens, I am sure that during the confusing process of the awakening, he or she may go through some changes, physically, as well. Maybe the Viperine begins to lose weight, or the Asetian's eyes slightly, very subtly, change color, which is possible, since the awakening is not the only thing that can effect the eye color and iris density with Asetians. Their energy status, mood, energy need, and even in a moment of rage, can all create subtle changes within their eyes. What changes do you believe an Asetian may go through, physically, after the awakening?

I believe one of the main changes would be a greater sense of inner energy and a loss of interest to indulge in mind-altering substances such as alcohol and/or drugs, given that he/she used them before. I have seen this happen when a sudden self-realization and self-evolution comes to be. The power of the mind/spirit becomes so much stronger - and important - that more hedonistic habits seem to weaken this, and at the same time lose strength.

As to a change in eye colour, I do not know. In any case, there would certainly be a new depth to the gaze, and definitely a greater sense of one's body as a vessel of the spirit, which might become more supple as more attention is paid to it.

Just a thought.

ToBeSilent, the awakening is a very diverse thing, different for every Asetian and its intensity would rely on many factors. For some, it will be a life-changing and intense time in life, for others it will be more subtle and gentle. For example, in Elders, who have awakened thousands of times, the awakening would be a subtle change, they are used to it... But for younger Asetians, non-Elders, it would be a dramatic change to their eyes.

I believe the Awakening is always a huge change in any Vampire. After all it is about allowing your human nature to die and find balance in your new or hidden vampiric Self.

Physical changes... I am thinking their gaze will become deeper as they awaken, more touching and moving... but that is more metaphysical than physical.

In this thread, there is an aura of surety that seems to pre-dispose an awakening Asetian to a series of physical and/or other changes.
With no disrespect to my fellow forum members, what leads you to believe that these changes indeed happen? Just curious. Other readings, personal experience, perhaps a comment from someone closer to the AK than we? I like to verify the underlying foundations of an hypothesis, before setting out to prove it.

Personal experience and debate with other Asetianists, Phoenix. But I said "I believe", meaning that I am not fully sure on all of this. Only the AK and the Asetians could definitely confirm our theories and prove them right or wrong, however I believe debating on the subjects may bring further enlightenment and a proper development of our theories and opinions among mature Asetianists. You agree?

I fully agree with you, Jonathan. This is the best way, and certainly the most mature way, to actually learn about things we do not know much about. Debating and assuming as a group is the best way to shed some light on these secrets. This is a wise thing to do, unless we stop assuming when we are unsure and start seeing what we assume as hard facts.
