A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
We all should by now be familiar with the terms "Next Generation", "New Generation", and "2.0". Well now I am bringing it here.
I will try to get as strait to the point as possible, because I am more interested in your responses. First fact: vampires are generally considered dark and demonic. Second Fact: I am a Christian. Third fact: I am becoming a Vampire according to my own will, no being bitten by another.
Now here is the fourth and interesting fact: despite what is often portrayed to the public, I am not the only Christian Vampire. I know one other, and this only as of 5 days ago. According to common math, over the course of 365 days, I shall meet 72 more like me if I search hard. This is not adding the large number of 7.5 billion individuals in the world to the equation. So, since it just may be believed that you have to have a pagan or even satanic god to be a vampire, I'm telling you now-- Baaaaa! Wrong answer, that is false. So what shall become of this? I for one will try to make a Christian Vampire community. Having a religious family and all, it could be useful to do this for some of us. Anyways, what are the publics thoughts?

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
Don't take me wrong, I'm trying to help you out here, although from experience most people who have this attitude who think they know but show they know nothing and did no research at all usually don't have the personality to take advice and grow with it, reacting to it instead. But we will see...
Now the comment on your little text.
First fact: You got it all wrong, vampires are not demonic, maybe dark yes but you have no idea what darkness is as it has nothing to do with evil and demons. You're feeding yourself dogma and nonsense.
Third fact: You will not become a vampire according to your will. Unless you're a role-player, which is starting to sound like it, otherwise it's just not going to happen.
Final fact: Vampires have been around since the times of Ancient Egypt and before, they are much older than Jesus and Christian dogma, do you really think they would follow a modern religion? Mankind has been fabricating religions for ages and vampires have seen them rise and fall. They just watch in their silence and care not for nonsense people make up. Oh and by the way, vampires are not Satanic or Luciferian as you imagine either, again, they are much older than Satan and Lucifer and follow powers much greater than those 2.
Your thoughts seem to show that you know nothing about vampires. Go research first, check some Asetian texts (real vampire documents), learn and investigate, otherwise besides making yourself sound like a fool you will end up being banned by one of the administrators who tend to prune the ones not wishing to learn and work with true knowledge around here. Take my advice if you will.

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
Jonothan, hello again!
No I don't mind. I am well aware of how long vamps have been around that's one reason why I am fascinated with them. I don't think vamps are dark and demonic (perhaps I used the wrong words?) all I meant was that it is how they are often portrayed (media). And I would love to do research on them. It doesn't change the facts that I know a Christian vampire though, so I am willing to wait and see how it turns out. But thank you for your input also when I say of my own will I don't mean I squeeze my eyelids together, hold my breath and hope it works lol. I mean I search out different spells to see which one suits me and see if they are working. I have tried three. The last one seems to have brought about strange things which cause me to believe it is working. (Like in my last text though... I am being a bit offended by your... "Brutal Honesty".... Sounds childish, I know-- I am 16. I don't mind taking the wisdom but it was only in this response that I realized you were trying to help. Do some revision on your works, kay'?)

I've got a better idea. Your a vampire right? Teach me. You seem kind of willing to correct my errors I cannot afford to go too deep into researching Asetians, for the sake of avoiding certain mistakes. So if you are trying to welcome me here, help me out.

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
You want to learn? So here is the first lesson, you don't know a Christian vampire as you say. You never met a real vampire. If someone has told you so they are lying to you.
Now that I have taught you something useful, let me tell you that I will not help someone who is unwilling to learn on her own. You say you can't afford to research the Asetians? Then you are not worthy of knowing about vampires to being with. Only those willing to learn, research and commit actually find truth about vampirism.
Don't be deluded, with such an attitude no vampire would go near you or even talk with you, not because they dislike you but simply because you're not interesting enough. You need a lot more maturity than that if you wish to find a single truth about vampires, let alone entering the vampire community.

Okay... Maybe. But if I ask you a question (assuming you'll see them... You seem quite attracted to my post) I request that you help me out. I don't have an ancient Egyptian culture nor anyone to answer my questions. The only thing I have is an incredibly wide and diverse Internet. Thanks

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
You can't become a vampire by using a spell. First, actual magickal spells are advanced metaphysical work which you clearly lack the understanding of. If you think using a spell is about following a recipe then you're beyond ignorant. Second, that is not how it works or how a vampire is created. If you think this is some sort of game you surely stumbled upon the wrong community and you have no idea what you're dealing with.
I see you're young hence your immature mindset and I can understand that, but that doesn't justify ignorance. Everyone can learn independently of age but only if they are willing. I think you would be happier in one of those role-playing forums out there full of fake vampires who may enjoy discussing those silly spells and non-existent Christian vampire friends than you will be in a real vampire forum such as this one. What you may read online about vampires isn't true for the most part and in every community you may find you will be greeted by liars pretending to be something they are not. Vampires are not easy to reach and at this point you're pushing yourself away from such a chance.
If you still wish to remain ignorant and living your life believing the lies told by others go ahead and see if anyone cares.
You have a lot of growing to work on before you can even start to understand what this forum deals with. Go play with those fake vampires and come back in a few years, or if you wish to stay then change that attitude of yours and start learning and being humble before you actually find yourself lost in real trouble by accident.

And this shows I can go on vacation now and leave everything to Nightshade.
hmmm. what do you call a female jackass? oh, I know.......Nightshade in charge......
Jonathan and Victor are too nice to everyone....so there has to be some sort of balance to all of this.....
and that is where dark matter comes in.

No it isn't, we just have our ways to make sure people staying are people willing to learn and grow, as we all are. Call us selective. It may seem elitist but that's one of the reasons why we didn't end like those forums full of fake crap. In other forums she would be receiving PMs with donor offers, fake vampire turning offers and what other activities unsuited for someone her age. Not in here.

Maybe unwelcoming wasn't the right word. Selective does seem to make sense. Or maybe it is simply a low tolerance for bs.

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
Lately, each time I return to this site, it appears that there is a new person who has not taken the time to READ the majority of, if not all of the previous postings. This is thoroughly irritating to me, and I am not even, nor have I been a major contributor in comparision to the long-term members whom have already posted in this thread. The serious practicioners here deserve a certain amount of respect. Quite frankly, I find it extremely disrespectful to not learn and value what has already been posted prior to asking/posting foolish questions/thoughts. Some people say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but in reality, a fool is a lazy person, and it is a lazy person who has the answers in their face, but doesn't know because they don't look. The long-term members of this forum have been extremely warm and welcoming and I am tired of seeing them collectively categorized as anything other than that. The problem of people not wanting to do anything to gain knowledge is a much bigger problem than here on this forum. It is a major issue on a global scale. Everyone thinks they are some form of royalty, and at a snap of the fingers their desires should be manifested, because...well...just because...Well like a certain character in Alice and Wonderland said, WHO ARE YOU? Seriously, who are you? Saying people should not rub you the wrong way? Why? What are you going to do? Pray to the Lord Jesus? You don't even have faith as a mustard seed. You ask for knowledge then insult! On a Christian paradigm your attitude is not very christ-like at all...Vampire, assist you? I doubt you could even get a predatorial human to feed off of you...A word of advice, don't go poking around occult forums where people come from varied backgrounds, as not everyone you come across is nice, and you may offend the wrong person and find yourself in spiritual turmoil... Someone may choose to send some chaotic things your way with such an attitude...I have seen this on a few other forums... One should always be tactful regarding differences of opinion, people can agree to disagree...

I was highly ignorant before I came here. I still am, but this forum does seem to be much more childish in many respects than it used to be. Every time someone new comes, they are told to essentially shut their mouths (figuratively) and grow up.
You can be elitist about your social circles, but pity the ignorant, and teach them without driving them away.

Everyone is childish and ignorant, often multiple times before their enlightenment. As long as you learn and evolve as a person/entity from all that you experience, nothing is for waste.VampyreFox wrote:Now I'm worried that I've been childish and ignorant.

Re: A New Generation of Vampires?: A Christian Group?!
This is one of the silliest threads we have had here.
The OP states: "I mean I search out different spells to see which one suits me and see if they are working. I have tried three. The last one seems to have brought about strange things which cause me to believe it is working."
If memory serves me correctly, Christians are not allowed to work with spells. Such is a blasphemous out right SIN! Such things/spells are the workings of Satan and his minions, and by working with spells one is allowing Self to be open to DEMONIC POSSESSION. Spells of transformation to make one a vampire would be such a spell for a demon to take hold of you--young one. If you do not believe this, then you are not a Christian, for the holy scripture mentions this. The bible is the "WORD of GOD." Unless, well, unless there is a new version of Christianity 2.0 and a new bible that I am not familiar with.
Anyway, working with spells when you have no idea what you are doing is unwise, and a sin against God. May need some Harry Potter 3.0 classes first.
The silly nature of this post is an effort to point out the silliness of this thread.

I believe this forum "seems to be much more childish than it used to be" is because that level of thought that you are suggesting be introduced and brought into the fold has a lower standard of involvement with the world around them....especially in the magical realm....you might say a lowering of educational standard. This is evolving into the average of the total seeking a particular level..... and it is a lower quality. This is just my own thought and I don't think many others will agree with me, but what the heck. I damn sure do not see myself as any elitist...lol....... I see you as saying let the "ignorant" in and coddle them without driving them away.......I view it in a different light...I would tend to continue in fashion to shut those up that babble on and on about things when it is apparent they are out of touch with those things that go against the actual forum overview....so we can open these opposite views up for discussion.......

I must be honest. I am new to this forum and reading some of the responses on this thread has made me quite nervous about posting my thoughts / experiences - I can understand people getting frustrated with naïve or less knowledgeable souls but not all people are brimming with confidence, it takes quite a bit of courage for some individuals to open up on a public forum
